NEWARK, NJ—NJIT will conclude its road schedule on Saturday when the Highlanders visit FGCU in ASUN Conference action. Kickoff is slated for 7pm.

United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Region Poll
NJIT remained in the top 10 in the Atlantic Region by the United Soccer Coaches in week eight (as of October 21).
ASUN Conference
Two weekends remain in the ASUN Conference Men's Soccer regular season with six total league matches still on the docket.
Three teams sit in a tie for first place with 10 points in FGCU, North Florida and Stetson however the Eagles hold a game in hand.
NJIT joins the trio having already clinched a spot in the ASUN Championship as the Highlanders also can claim the regular season crown with two matches remaining on their conference slate.
Scouting the Highlanders
Having already locked up a spot in the ASUN Championship for the third time in program history, NJIT can move into first place with a win vs. FGCU and a UNF loss or draw.
Redshirt junior forward
Rene White tops the league in goals (13) and points (28). For his career, he sits with 30 goals and 66 points which also lead all active league players.
Nationally, as a team, NJIT ranks 10th in goals (32), 13th in points (92) and 21st in assists (28).
After dropping its opening league match to Stetson, the Highlanders have rattled off three-straight wins vs. Liberty, UNF and Lipscomb and are 4-1-1 in the last six matches.
Scouting the Eagles
The Eagles are 4-1-0 in their last five matches, which includes a 3-0-0 mark in league play and a 1-0 win vs. #17 Charlotte.
With a win vs. NJIT on Saturday, the Eagles can lock up at least a share of the Regular Season title. FGCU has won the regular season seven times prior.
Offensively, O'Vonte Mullings ranks second in the conference for goals with seven on the year and is second with 16 points.
The Eagles are 3-0-0 all-time against the Highlanders having posted shutouts in the last two meetings (2-0; 2018 & 5-0; 2017).
