NEWARK, NJ—NJIT, undefeated in its last four contests, will conclude its non-conference slate on Tuesday, October 15 at two-time defending Patriot League regular season champion Loyola. Kick-off is set for 7pm in Baltimore.

ASUN Conference Defensive Player of the Week
NJIT freshman goalkeeper
Samuel Reisgys picked up his third career ASUN Conference Defensive Player of the Week honor after posting a clean sheet on Saturday in the Highlanders 2-0 win over visiting North Florida in ASUN action.
Reisgys, from Rimbach, Germany, recorded his fourth career shutout of the season, posting two saves against the Ospreys.
He tops the ASUN in save percentage (.781) and fourth in goals against average (1.19).
Scouting the Highlanders
NJIT (5-4-3 overall) is undefeated in its last four matches (3-0-1), notching wins against Liberty (3-0), VMI (5-0) and North Florida (2-0). The one tie came in non-conference action at La Salle (2-2) on October 1.
The Highlanders have scored a total of 12 goals in the last four contests.
Redshirt junior
Rene White ranks in the NCAA top-nine in four different categories -- total goals (T-2nd; 11), total points (9th; 23), goals per game (2nd; 1.00) and points per game (9th; 2.09).
White became NJIT's Division I career goal leader (28) on October 5 against VMI, where he netted a pair of goals in the Highlanders 5-0 win. The record-breaking goal was scored in the 26
th minute of action.
A Look at Loyola (MD)
Loyola enters Tuesday's match with a 5-7 overall mark and 3-1 at home, most recently dropping a 1-0 decision on a penalty kick at Lehigh on Saturday. Prior to Lehigh, Loyola won three straight and five-out-of-eight matches.
Senior midfielder Barry Sharifi paces the Greyhounds with four goals while three different players have notched three goals.
Loyola (MD) senior forward Brian Saramago tops the team in assists (5) and points (11).
Next Up
A pair of ASUN Conference matches wrap up the Highlanders road schedule for the season, visiting defending ASUN Conference Champions Lipscomb on October 19 and FGCU on October 26. Lipscomb advanced to the Sweet 16, finishing the season with 10 wins.
The final match of the season, Senior Night, will feature the Highlanders hosting Jacksonville on November 2.
