NJIT players have picked up All-Tournament Team honors at each of the squad's four weekend events this season.
Sarah Merritt was named to the All-Tournament Team at the season-opening Terrier Classic and the Tiger Invitational. while
Madi Busler was named to the All-Tournament Team at the FDU Knights Fall Classic and
Courtney Branch earned All-Tournament Team recognition at the Sacred Heart Invitational.
Scouting Liberty
The Flames enter Friday's match with an 11-6 record and winners of four out of five of their ASUN matches. Liberty fell to Lipscomb in its last match and now sits in a tie for second place in the ASUN.
Series History
Friday's match is the third all-time between NJIT and Liberty, which entered the ASUN prior to the 2018 season. Both previous matches took place last season with the Flames winning 3-0 in Lynchburg and 3-1 in Newark.
