BOCA RATON, FL – NJIT men's swimming and diving competed in a double dual meet against Florida Atlantic and William & Mary during their Florida winter break trip on Thursday at the outdoor FAU Aquatic Center.
The Highlanders fell to FAU 175-65 and William & Mary 173-58, while William & Mary defeated FAU 165-66.
In his first meet of the 2017-18 season,
Edward Parks was the top Highlander finisher in the 50 free coming in at 22.68 in front of
Tyler Pollock (22.95) and
Jack Matusiak (23.08).
Diver's
Avery Bechtel and
Cole Becker finished third and fourth respectively in the 1-meter dive and the 3-meter dive.
Nicholas Lyons placed fourth in the 100 backstroke coming in at 1:01.61.
Men's swimming and diving travels to Howard next on January 13 before heading home to host their first meet in the new Wellness and Events center natatorium against Monmouth on January 27 starting at 11am.
