NJIT (8-12, 1-4 ASUN) will look to snap a three-game skid when the Highlanders host the visiting Lipscomb Lady Bisons (4-16, 1-4 ASUN) on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Fleisher Athletic Center.
As part of a doubleheader, the Highlander men's program will host the Bison from Lipscomb in the nightcap at 4 p.m. on ESPN3.

Starting in January, every NJIT game played in the ASUN Conference, home and away, throughout the regular season and into the ASUN postseason tournament will be covered on ESPN3.
ALL TIME SERIES
The schools will meet for the third time on Saturday with the series tied at 1-1. The Highlanders picked up its first ASUN Conference program victory on February 4, 2016, 61-51, in Newark, paced by
Leah Horton's program-record 20 rebounds, who, along with
Kelly Guarino scored a team-leading 15 points in NJIT's first all-time win in ASUN action. The Lady Bisons notched a 63-49 victory in Nashville on February 10, which snapped its 17-game losing streak, led by senior
Ashley Southern's 18 points and nine rebounds.
A LOOK AT THE LADY BISONS
The Lady Bisons, who will conclude a three-game road stretch on Saturday at NJIT, enter the contest with a 4-16 record, 1-4 in the ASUN.
Lipscomb and NJIT both have one victory in the ASUN, coming against the same opponent – North Florida. Lipscomb's
Loren Cagle scored the game-winning layup with :02 second remaining to break a 58-58 tie and went on to win, 60-58, for the first ASUN win of the season.
The Lady Bisons are coming off an 84-60 loss against defending ASUN Conference champions, Jacksonville. Junior
Meredith Lovelady led the team with 10 points and freshman
Lauren Rau added a career-best nine points.
Senior
Alex Banks has been the Lady Bisons' leading scorer (11.6 ppg) and rebounder at (5.5 rpg) this season.
Cagle, the Lady Bisons' point guard, was named to the preseason watch list for the Nancy Lieberman Award, which is handed out each season to the best point guard in the nation. She was one of 20 student-athletes to earn the recognition and one of only four players from a mid-major program on the list. She is averaging 8.3 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.3 rebounds on the season. Her 97 assists (4.9 apg) ranks first in the ASUN.
Three-point threat Lovelady sits atop the team with 36 three-pointers made, averaging 7.3 ppg followed by Cagle and
Kennedy Potts connecting on 17 from behind the arc. Lovelady ranks in the top 16 in the ASUN, just below NJIT's Guarino.
A LOOK AT NJIT
NJIT returns back home after two tough losses coming at – FGCU (73-53) and most recently Stetson (77-43). The Highlanders, which played its best first half of the season at FGCU, held a five-point advantage against one of the top teams in the ASUN, 32-27. The Eagles exploded for 30 points in the third quarter and opened the fourth with an 11-0 spurt, securing the win.
The Highlanders recorded its first ASUN Conference win, 64-62, against North Florida on January 14 on a game-winning shot by
Alana Dudley with :03 seconds left on the clock.
Dudley, the only Highlander averaging double-digits, is averaging 11.8 ppg. She has recorded at least one assist in 19-out-of-20 games this season and has notched double-digit scoring in the last six games for NJIT. Her 252 career assists ranks third all-time in NJIT's Division I era, 23 shy
Ivana Seric's 275 assists, who sits in second place.
Redshirt sophomore
Tatianna Torres is averaging 9.9 ppg and leads the ASUN in steals with 51. Torres had a seven-game stretch of scoring in double-figures, which was halted at FGCU. She has at least one steal in 14 of NJIT's 20 games.
