BETHLEHEM, PA—Taylor Campbell and Kayla Burton combined for 28 off the bench for Lehigh, leading the Mountain Hawks to an 84-52 victory over visiting NJIT Wednesday evening in women's basketball non-conference action at Stabler Arena.
Lehigh bounced back to the win column with Wednesday's victory, improving to 5-3 while the Highlanders drop to 3-4 on the young season.
The hot-shooting Mountain Hawks shot 52.2 percent from behind the arc (12-23) and 85.7 percent from the charity strip (18-21). The 84 points scored is the second highest scoring total this season for the Mountain Hawks, who scored 91 against Delaware
State.
Campbell, the Mountain Hawks junior guard finished 6-for-11 from the field and 2-of-4 from three-point range with a game-best 16 points while Burton, a senior guard, netted 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting (all from behind the arc).
Lehigh's Campbell and Cameryn Benz shared team-high honors with seven rebounds each, as the Mountain Hawks held a slight edge on the boards.
The Highlanders were led by freshman forward
Danielle Tunstall, who notched her third double-double of the season, netting a team-best 14 points and game-high 11 rebounds. Tunstall recorded back-to-back double-doubles to open her collegiate career.

Leah Horton just missed posting a double-double, combining for 10 points and nine rebounds. Freshman point guard
Amber Morgan matched her career-best with nine points (scored nine against St. Joseph's Brooklyn College).
The month of December will begin in Cambridge, Massachusetts, when the Highlanders visit Harvard on December 4, with tip set for 12Noon. The Crimson finished with an even 14-14 record and advanced to the first round of the WNIT last season. Harvard leads the all-time series, 4-0.
