NEWARK, NJ— NJIT will make its first ASUN Men's Soccer Championship appearance as the No. 4 seed in the tournament, facing No. 5 Jacksonville on Friday, November 4 at 6pm in the ASUN quarterfinals on the campus of University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.
ASUN TOURNAMENT
The 2016 ASUN Men's Soccer Championship will be a six-team, single-elimination tournament contested over two weeks. North Florida (No. 1) and Florida Gulf Coast (No. 2) received a bye in the opening round as both schools will host a quarterfinal and semifinal contest.
The winner of No. 4 NJIT/No. 5 Jacksonville will square off with No. 1 North Florida Sunday, November 6, at 7 p.m. The winner of the No. 3 Lipscomb/No. 6 Stetson game, scheduled for Thursday, November 3, at 7 p.m., will face No. 2 FGCU Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m.
The two remaining teams will travel to the highest remaining seed for the tournament final, slated for Saturday, November 12. Game time has yet to be determined.
