NASHVILLE, TN—Visiting NJIT dropped a 3-0 decision at Lipscomb Saturday afternoon in Atlantic Sun Conference women's volleyball action at Allen Arena.
Lipscomb (7-1 in A-Sun, 15-8 overall) swept the Highlanders in straight sets, 25-11, 25-18 and 25-18. Both teams met in September in Newark, with the Bisons recording a 3-0 decision.
Redshirt freshman Carli Anderson paced the Bisons Saturday combining for a .444 hitting percentage (14k, 2e, 27a) while senior outside hitter Brittany Estes followed with a .500 hitting percentage (12k, 1e, 22a).
Junior setter Kayla Ostrom just missed notching a double-double registering a match-best 39 assists and team-high 9 digs. Libero Brittany Thomas followed with 8 digs and two service aces.
NJIT (1-7 in A-Sun, 6-18 overall) was led by senior outside hitter
Danica Vukotic, who was the lone Highlander to record double-digit kills with 10. Junior transfer

Tess Albyn each recorded a .333 hitting percentage. Albyn posted 5 kills followed by Harris with 4 for the visitors.

Emily Krachenfels piled up 17 assists while classmate
Adriana Nieto dug-up a match-best 12 digs. Harris led the match with 4 total blocks (1 solo, 3 assists) followed by 2 apiece from Albyn and Krachenfels.
NJIT will return to action on Wednesday at 7pm when the Highlanders host Fairleigh Dickinson in the Fleisher Athletic Center.
