NEWARK, NJ—The NJIT men's soccer program is excited to announce the date of Alumni Day, Sunday, September 8 on Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium.

The Highlander Soccer Alumni game is scheduled for 12:30pm on the campus green followed by a BBQ. Stick around and watch the NJIT men's soccer team host  the George Washington Colonials at 4pm in the 2013 home opener. At halftime, all former players and coaching staff will be honored. Lastly, a small meet and greet will be hosted at the Highlander Pub, where the Alumni will have the opportunity to meet the 2013 Men's Soccer team.

The season is promptly approaching us. The Men's Soccer team will kick off its season on Aug. 19 with an exhibition against in-state rivals Saint Peter's University. The Highlanders will finalize their preseason matches against NCAA National Title contender UCONN on Aug. 24. The regular season will start with 3 away contests, Aug 30 at St. John's, Sep 3 at Sacred Heart, and Sep 5 at VMI. After a tough opening to the schedule on the road, the Highlanders come back to Lubetkin Field on Sep 8 to play the Atlantic 10 contender, the Colonials of George Washington University.
