No. 11/10 Penn State (9-2) will close out the non-conference portion of its schedule hosting NJIT after a break for final exams.
Penn State, which last played on December 16, earned a 60-50 victory over South Dakota State. Senior point guard Alex Bentley led the way for the Lady Lions with 13 points, a career-best nine rebounds and five assists while senior Nikki Greene led all scorers with 17 points to go along with six rebounds.
This will be the second all-time meeting between the two schools, which faced each other in the 2009-10 season opener on November 15. Penn State defeated the Highlanders, 79-57.
