WEST POINT, NY – NJIT was defeated by Arkansas 3-0 but bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Dartmouth Sunday on the final day of the West Point Challenge.

Arkansas topped NJIT 25-16, 25-14, 25-12 led by Kelli Stipanovich, who posted a double-double with a match-high 12 kills and 15 digs.

NJIT was paced by Julia Colombo and Camilla Tinari with six kills apiece.  Junior Janet Snell, who was named to the all-Tournament team added five kills.

Libero Audrey Snell dug-up a team-high 13 digs followed by younger sister Janet with 12.  Tinari registered nine digs for NJIT.

Setter Anna Mercado piled up 22 assists for the Highlanders while posting nine digs.

Following Stipanovich's match-high 12 kills was Roslandy Acosta with nine and Jamine Norton with seven for Arkansas. Christa Alvarez notched a match-high 17 digs while Raymariely Santos added 31 assists.

In the second match of the day for the Highlanders, NJIT came back from two sets down against Dartmouth, taking the match 20-25, 14-25, 25-20, 25-22 and 15-12.
