NEWARK, NJ—The scheduled men's soccer game with NJIT hosting Adelphi has been postponed until Monday, November 7 at 7 pm due to the winter storm that hit the Newark area on Saturday, October 29.
The game, which had been moved to October 30, had to be re-scheduled again to November 7 due to the high accumulation of snow, much of which remains on NJIT's Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium.
Adelphi, the two-time defending Atlantic Soccer Conference champion, will come into its final regular season conference game against NJIT with a 3-0 record. NJIT, 1-1 in the ASC, needs a win on November 4 at Howard and then a win in the re-scheduled game vs. Adelphi in order to claim a share of first place in the ASC.
The November 7 game against Adelphi on Lubetkin Field at Mal Simon Stadium will include pre-game Senior Day ceremonies.
