NEWARK, NJ – The NJIT men's swimming team hosted Manhattan Saturday afternoon in the home opener for the Highlanders at the Fleisher Athletic Center.

Freshman Victor Razuk and Matthew Negron placed second and third respectively, in the 200 freestyle.  Razuk also placed second in the 100 fly for a seasonal best.

Marlon De La Rosa captured first place in the 200 IM with a seasonal best (2:07.45).  He also placed second in the 100 breaststroke.

Shawn Bryan placed first in the 50 freestyle with a seasonal best (22.33).  Bryan also placed second in the 100 freestyle with another personal best (49.73).

Johannes Smit swam a personal best in the 50 freestyle (25.44).

The Highlanders will return to action on Saturday, December 4 at Ramapo.
