MONTCLAIR, NJ – Freshman Victor Razuk broke the NJIT school-record in the men's 200 butterfly in a dual meet against Montclair and St. Peter's Saturday afternoon at the Panzer Athletic Center.
Razuk, a freshman from Pittstown, NJ, covered the distance in a school-record (2:11.59), good for third place. Razuk broke Hayk Ekshian's time of (2:13.42) held since December 8, 2007.
Two other Highlanders swam a personal-best Saturday -- Shawn Bryan in the men's 200 freestyle (50.57) taking fifth place and Johannes Smit in the men's 200 breast stroke (3:22.72).
The Highlanders will host Manhattan on Saturday at the Estelle and Zoom Fleisher Athletic Center at 12pm.
