JERSEY CITY, NJ – The NJIT men's swimming team faced Manhattan and Virginia Military Institute Saturday afternoon at the Yanitelli Center.
Freshman Shawn Bryan was the top performer for NJIT Saturday finishing fourth in the 50 freestyle and picked up a sixth-place finish in the 100 butterfly.
Sophomore Andrew Helbers competed in three events placing sixth -- 1000 freestyle, 500 freestyle and 100 breaststroke.
Highlanders' Richard Montesano and Matthew Negron were featured in the 200 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke.
NJIT will return to action on Sunday when they visit Lehigh at 12pm.
