Tenafly, NJ - The NJIT women's tennis team raised it overall record to 4-2 with a convincing 6-1 win over Sacred Heart Saturday night at Tenafly Racquet Club.

NJIT won five of the six singles matches and took two out of three doubles matches.

Iulia Doci and Isha Toor teamed for a 9-7 win at first doubles against Sacred Heart's duo of Nicole Betz and Darcy Nemers. Doci also defeated Julianne Kasinow at first singles 6-0, 6-3.

Fatima Kasem and Chiori Koike picked up a 9-7 win for NJIT in third doubles, while Kasem and Koike claimed wins at third and sixth singles.

NJIT's Fanny Aizier and Dasa Stanimirovic also picked up wins for NJIT at fourth and fifth singles.

The Highlanders will host Hofstra on Saturday, February 9 at Tenafly Racquet Club at 7pm.
