HANOVER, NH - New Jersey Institute of Technology women's volleyball team fell short 3-0 (30-17, 30-17, 30-23) decision to Harvard this afternoon in the final match of the Dartmouth Invitational.

Highlander Kubra Tanrikulu posted nine kills along with six digs, but it wasn't enough to overcome the offensive strength of Harvard.

Harvard was led by Suzie Trimble who posted 10 kills while teammate Laura Mahon notched 8. Sarah Cebron recorded 19 assists.

Kasha Hornstein and Kristy Haeckel tallied up eight kills apiece. Agnieszka Pregowska and Tanrikulu collected six digs. Sophomore setter Danielle Thompson notched 22 assists.

Hornstein was named to the all-Tournament team and collected 27 digs over three matches. She led the tournament with 3.00 digs per game.

The Highlanders return to action when they host Quinnipiac on Tuesday, October 3rd at 7:00pm.
