HANOVER, NH - Robert Morris University women's volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over New Jersey Institute of Technology in the opening round of the Dartmouth Invitational today.

Juniors Emily Wolthuis and Jennifer Stambaugh led the Colonials with 14 kills apiece. Janett Schneider and Haley Schroeder followed with eight while teammate Tawnya Storino had a match-high 38 assists. Schneider recorded six total blocks.

For NJIT, Agnieszka Pregowska tallied seven kills and 10 digs while teammate Danielle Thompson recorded six kills and 23 assists. Freshman Kasha Hornstein notched a team-high 14 digs.

The Highlanders return to action tomorrow when they take on Dartmouth at 1:00pm and wrap up play against Harvard at 3:00pm.
