Siena got three goals in each half, posting a 6-0 win over New Jersey Institute of Technology in the Governor's Cup women's soccer tournament hosted by the University at Albany.
Six different players scored goals for Siena and the first five tallies were unassisted.
The match was scoreless into the 29th minutes, but Kristen Turner broke the ice for the Saints at 28:03 scoring from the center of the box.
Three of the next four goals were scored on rebounds and the second and third goals came within 8:09 of the first score. Kara Sefcik scored on a rebound in the 32nd minute and Erinn Flaherty made it 3-0 at 36:12.
Tara Ross, at 51:45, and Susie Blaisdell, at 58:15, scored on rebounds for Siena and Alyssa Thayer found the net, assisted by Amy Loughbridge just 15 seconds from the final whistle.
Siena's goalkeeper Carey Winkler went all the way for the shutout. NJIT used two goalkeepers. Bruna Lotufo started and made 9 saves, while allowing 5 goals in just over 61 minutes. Angelica Sepulveda finished up, allowing a goal and recording a save in 28:49 between the posts.
NJIT will round out play in the tournament with 1 pm match on Sunday against host UAlbany.
