BRONX, NY - Host Fordham took a 7-0 decision from visiting New Jersey Institute of Technology in women's tennis Saturday.

The home team, now 2-1, won all six singles matches and got the one point for doubles, taking two of the three doubles contests. Winning for the Highlanders was the second doubles team of Isha Toor and Fanny Aizier, who took an 8-6 decision. NJIT is 2-2.

The closest singles matches were at first and second singles. In the first slot, Fordham's Dominique Ligouri was a 6-2, 6-4 winner over Iulia Doci of NJIT. At second singles, Toor dropped a 6-3, 6-2 decision to Fordham's Ellenoira Featherston.

Next on the schedule for NJIT is a home match on Saturday, October 21 at noon on the Fleisher Athletic Center courts against Saint Francis of Pennsylvania.
