Christian Baumbach won the Great West Conference title in the men’s 5000 meter race at the 2010 Great West Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by University of South Dakota.

Baumbach led the way in the 5000 meter run as he finished at 15:03.13, earning 10 points for NJIT. He also scored in the men’s 10000 meter run, picking up six points, taking third with a time of 30:58.15.
