Sophomore Zach Cooks scored a game-high 16 points while adding five rebounds, three assists and three steals in NJIT's 53-50 road victory at Fordham.

Cooks set a game high 25 points and tied his career high by draining five triples in the Highlanders 90-80 victory at Fairleigh Dickinson.

Cooks has now reached the 20-point plateau in six of his last nine games.

The five-foot-nine guard also tied his career high with seven rebounds -- and has now grabbed exactly seven boards in three of the last four affairs. 

Cooks continues to lead the ASUN in steals per game (2.7) and second in scoring average (18.8 ppg).

A bit more of a pleasant surprise is that he second on the team and 13th in the conference in rebounding (5.3 rpg).

With the win at FDU, NJIT became the first team in the nation to reach six road wins this season and just the third to 11 victories – joining No. 23 Furman University (12-0) and No. 5 University of Michigan (11-0).
 
The Highlanders (11-2) also tied their season-high with a four-game winning streak, set Nov. 6-14 in their first four contests of 2018-19.
