Amelia Sapirman tabs NJIT Female Athlete of the Week for her performance in a 2-0 week for NJIT women’s soccer.

Sapirman recorded her sixth a seventh shutouts of the season becoming the all-time leader in shutouts in a season.

In a 1-0 win over North Florida on Friday, Sapirman made a career-high 13 saves ranking her third all-time in the NJIT record books for saves in a game.

On Sunday, Sapriman tallied four saves and her seventh shutout, bringing her career total to 10 which ranks her second all time. Her nine wins this season also ranks first for most wins for a goalkeeper in a season.

Sapirman has 68 saves on the year with an .840 save percentage, both marks rank second in the ASUN Conference.
