Rene White was selected as NJIT Male Athlete of the Week for his performance in the Highlanders 1-0 victory over Sacred Heart on Friday.

The redshirt-sophomore returned to the field after missing last season due to injury, and scored the game-winning goal against
the Pioneers.

In his 2016 freshman season, White tallied six goals ranking him second on the team and two assists.
