Justin Etts collects Male Athlete of the Week honors for driving in the game-winning run in the Highlanders 4-3 win over #22 FGCU on Sunday.
 
NJIT lost the first two games to the Eagles 9-1 and 3-1 on Friday and Saturday respectively.
 
Sunday was a different story, when Etts singled to left field scoring teammate Paul Franzoni in the top of the 9th inning, giving the Highlanders the win over their ranked ASUN opponent.
 
Etts NJIT’s starting shortstop was 4-13 on the weekend and added six assists on defense, and leads the team with 67 assists.
