Advaita Saravanan wins Female Athlete of the Week for her performance in the Highlanders 4-3 loss to LIU Brooklyn on Sunday.
 
Saravanan was the only Highlander to pick up two wins in the match, earning a doubles win with teammate Amanda Helminsky (7-5) and at second singles defeating Sasha Bollweg 6-1, 7-6(1).
 
Freshman Saravanan, who joined the team in January, has already won ASUN Women’s Tennis Player of the Week twice, an award only two other Highlanders have received since NJIT joined the ASUN in 2015.
