NJIT sophomore Christian Baumbach captured the men’s individual title and was named Male Athlete of the Year Saturday at the 2009 Great West Conference Cross Country Championships hosted by NJIT at Van Cortland Park.

 

Baumbach, from Hopewell, NJ, completed the 8k race in a time of 25:57.95.
