New Jersey Institute of Technology Athletics

NJIT women's track and field athlete Cristina De Cristofaro, from Clark, NJ has been selected as Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Matthew Vassar Twilight Meet.

The freshman had a strong performance for NJIT, finishing second in the women's 200-meter dash with a time of 27.02. She placed third in the women's long jump with a distance of 4.87m and fourth in the women's 400 meters with a time of 1:01.24.
