NJIT women's track and field athlete Cristina De Cristofaro has been selected as NJIT Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the 2014 Collegiate Track Conference Outdoor Championship.

The freshman placed second in the women's long jump with a distance of 5.12m, third in the women's triple with a mark of 9.91m, added a fifth-place finish in the women's high jump with a height of 1.48m. She was also the top finisher for NJIT in the women's 400 meter dash with a seventh-place finish with a time of 1:00.09.

Overall the women took third place.
