NJIT women's Tennis player Carolina Zanotta, from Piracicaba, Sao Paulo, Brazil has been selected as NJIT Female Athlete of the Week for her performance during the Highlanders 5-2 over Norfolk State.

The junior, with fellow Brazilian doubles partner Natalia Melibeu, were 8-4 winners at second doubles, topping Norfolk State's Krystal Scott and Mafalda Lhorca. Zanotta was a 6-2, 6-1 winner at fifth singles, defeating Scott.

NJIT will return to action on March 29 when the Highlanders visit Marist at 11am.
