NJIT sophomore Markus Schultz who advanced to the round of 16, the furthest any NJIT tennis player has advanced at the ITA tournament dropped a 6-2, 6-1 decision to Harvard's Denis Nguyen Sunday.

Leading up to Sunday's match, Schultz defeated Cornell's Bernardo Casares in his first match in straight sets, 6-5, 6-3.  The sophomore went the distance in the next match against Yale's Daniel Fairman.  Schultz dropped the first set, 6-5, but bounced back for a 6-4, 6-1 victory.
