Senior Gechi Ukaegbu was named to the 2012 Great West Conference second-team and earned 2012 College Sports Madness Great West Conference first-team honors.

The forward from Union, NJ, closes out her career at NJIT ranking fifth all-time and sixth in the NJIT Division 1 era with 67 career matches played while ranking third all-time with 10 career goals and second in the NJIT Division I era while also ranking second in Division 1 records with 23 career points.

This season, she appeared in 19 matches notching three goals, one assist for seven points.
