Forward Uju Nwankwo, led the Highlanders to a 2-0 mark last week with wins over Texas-Pan American and Houston Baptist. 
 
For the week, Nwankwo averaged 11.0ppg and 8.0rpg while shooting 52 percent from the field (11-of-21).  She also added four blocks raising her season total to 44.
 
On Thursday vs. Texas-Pan American, Nwankwo came off the bench to score six points and pulled down six rebounds in 28 minutes of action.
 
On Saturday against Houston Baptist, Nwankwo scored 14 of her career-high 16 points in the first half while grabbing 10 rebounds and recording three blocks.

Nwankwo also earned her second honor of the season by being named CollegeSportsMadness.com Great West Conference Player of the Week.
