New Jersey Institute of Technology Athletics

The NJIT women's tennis team opened up its 2012 season with a 2-0 mark defeating Sacred Heart and Saint Peter's.

Sophomore Jana Luste and senior Nina Mayevska were victorious in a three-set tilt at second and third singles.  Luste topped Sacred Heart's Kate Donnelly, 0-6, 6-0, 6-0.

Against Saint Peter's, Highlander duo Luste and Mayevka were 8-1 winners at first doubles.  Luste won at second singles, 6-4, 6-3.
