Freshman Victor Martinez advanced to the semifinals of Singles Flight F at the 2011 USTA Billie Jean King NTC Invitational this past weekend.

Martinez defeated Fairleigh Dickinson's Dom Hemy, 6-2, 6-3 in the first round.

In the quarterfinals, Martinez topped Boston College's Matt Wagner 6-7 (7), 6-4, 10-5 but was downed in the semifinals by Columbia's Theodore Marin, 6-0, 7-5.
