Jeff Peterson went 10-for-18 (.556) with five RBI, four runs, three doubles and a .722 slugging percentage last week leading the Highlanders to a 3-2 week.

In a non-conference victory over Iona, Peterson went 3-for-5 with three runs batted in.

Against Texas-Pan American, Peterson’s bat stayed hot in the first game finishing the day 4-for-4 with two runs.

On Saturday, Peterson went 1-for-2 in game one, with a double and in the nightcap, finished 1-for-3 with two RBI’s and one run.

In the final game of the series, Peterson hit 1-for-4 extending his hitting streak to 11 games while raising his season average to .297.

Peterson also claimed Great West Conference Player of the Week honors.
