New Jersey Institute of Technology Athletics

One of NJIT’s all-time top players in a three-year career that ended with the 2007 season, Dena Baskous continues her association with the Highlanders as Director of Soccer Operations.

The Alaska native who played her freshman season at national power UConn, wrapped up her fine NJIT career as a defender with first-team all-conference honors. In her first NJIT season (2005) she was all-New England Region second team at the Division II level, as well as first-team all-conference. Throughout her career, she was a strong interior defender who could also come forward, collecting three goals and an assist in 50 games.

She majored in architecture as an undergraduate at NJIT.
