Bernie Jones joined the NJIT tennis coaching staff in August of 2009.
Jones earned his master’s degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology in May 2010 with a major in Emergency Management/Business Continuity.
He has taught adult and junior tennis clinics in New York and New Jersey over the past 30 years.
The 2009-10 season, will mark the first college coaching experience for Jones, who played for Syracuse University tennis club in 1979.
Jones is a professional tennis racquet stringer.
He resides in South Orange, NJ, with his wife Delphine, and their daughter Alexa and son Jared.
