New Jersey Institute of Technology Athletics

A 2009 NJIT graduate, Correa is serving as an assistant coach with both the women’s and men’s volleyball teams.

A 6-foot-4 setter who chose to pursue his studies at NJIT over an offer to play for Brazil’s Junior National Team, Correa was a four-year starter and the assists leader for the Highlanders, ranking 26th nationally in assists as a senior, 18th as a junior, and 20th as a sophomore.

A native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and the son of an economist, Correa was a business management/finance major enrolled in NJIT’s Albert Dorman Honors College.

He earned all-academic honors in the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association each of his last three seasons playing for NJIT.

He resides in Jersey City, NJ.
