Swimming and Diving Begins 2022-23 With First Day of NJIT Invitational

NEWARK, N.J. — The NJIT men's swimming and diving team officially kicked off its 2022-23 campaign Friday evening as the Highlanders played host for the first day of the two-day NJIT Invitational at the Wellness and Events Center Natatorium.

Joining NJIT at its season premiere event were the men's and women's teams from UMBC and St. Francis Brooklyn, along with the women's team from Vermont.

HIGHLANDER VICTORIES

The best performance of the first day came from sophomore Sam Deemer, who picked up the Highlanders' lone victory in the 100 Back (51.98).
