CHARLOTTE, NC—NJIT's Avery Bechtel has been selected Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Diver of the Week the league office announced Wednesday.

Bechtel earned the co-Diver of the Week honor with Dawson Martinez from Incarnate Word. 

The junior from Gardners, PA, placed in the top three in both diving meets this past week against UMass.

He finished second in the 3-meter dive with a score of 163.40 and placed third in the 1-meter dive with a score of 201.60.
