WAYNE, NJ – William Paterson defeated visiting New Jersey Institute of Technology, 109-68, in men's swimming Tuesday afternoon.
The Highlanders picked up nine points in the 100 yard breaststroke as freshman Chris Early finished second (1:13.56), followed by Edwin Walker (1:15.04) and Richard-Thomas Haft (1:15.49). Walker took fourth in the 50 yard freestyle (24.85).
NJIT's Richard Montesano added a third place finish in the 100 yard butterfly (1:03.04) and placed fourth in the 200 yard IM (2:24.22).
Next up for the men's swimming team is Fairfield on Sunday, November 22 at 1pm.
