Box Score

TENAFLY, NJ - NJIT won every singles matchup and every doubles match, as well, and the only close contest was at sixth singles in the Highlanders' 7-0 women's tennis win over visiting Hartford Saturday night in the Tenafly Racquet Club.

Iulia Doci (#1 singles), Fatima Kasem (#3), Fanny Aizier (#4) and Dasa Stanimirovic (#5) were all dominant 6-0, 6-0 winners over their counterparts from Hartford and Isha Toor was a 6-1, 6-0 victor at number two.

Grace Bogdan made it a clean sweep of the singles for the Highlanders, taking the point at the sixth spot, 7-6 (5) and 7-5.

Only third doubles was a shutout, as Stanimirovic and Aizier combined for an 8-0 win, but NJIT won the other two doubles matchups with ease, as well. Doci and Toor took first doubles, 8-1, and Kasem and Chiori Koike won, 8-2, at number two.

The Highlanders, 8-3 on the season, including five wins in their last six matches, will return to the Tenafly Racquet Club on March 8 to host Manhattan in a 7 pm start.
