WASHINGTON, DC - American University women's volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over visiting New Jersey Institute of Technology at Bender Arena, Saturday morning.

The Eagles' sophomore, Sukaj Rubena, led a (30-22, 30-22, 30-22) win with a match-high 19 kills. Chelsea Brooks followed with 10 kills of her own while teammate Christina Nash notched a match-high 28 assists. Brooks recorded eight block assists.

For NJIT, Aggie Pregowska tallied seven kills, five digs, two service aces and two block assists while teammate Kasha Hornstein recorded six kills and 10 digs. Freshman Sabrina Baby notched a team-high 12 digs.

The Highlanders will wrap up play today in the tournament with a 5:00 pm match against Howard.
