BRONX, NY - New Jersey Institute of Technology women's volleyball team fell short 3-0 (30-26, 30-18, 30-14) decision to Tulsa University this afternoon in the final match of the Rose Hill Classic.

Highlander Aggie Pregowska posted nine kills along with five digs, but it wasn't enough to overcome the offensive strength of Tulsa.

Tulsa was led by Germana Hilario who posted 12 kills while teammate Julia Silva notched 11. Silva recorded a game-high 27 assists in the victory.

Kasha Hornstein tallied up nine digs while Kubra Tanrikulu posted eight. Kristy Haeckel and Pregowska collected three blocks apiece. Sophomore setter Danielle Thompson recorded 22 assists.

Highlander freshman Sabrina Baby who was named to the All-Tournament team collected 12 digs. She led the tournament with 4.33 digs per game and ranked among the leaders in service aces with 8 (0.67 avg.).

The Highlanders return to action on Wednesday, September 21st at 7:00pm when they host San Francisco University at the Fleisher Athletic Center.
