The New Jersey Institute of Technology's women's tennis team extended its winning streak to four straight wins, defeating Mesa State 7-2 Sunday at the Tennis Center in Arizona.
The Highlanders, now 12-4 won four of the six singles matches and swept the doubles contest. Mesa won the second and fourth singles.
Iulia Doci continued to dominate at first singles defeating Teri Mayeda 6-0, 6-4 and winning first doubles with Fatima Kasem 8-3. Deepti Sanjai was a winner at third singles and second doubles with senior Eva Salierno.
Chiori Koike won fifth singles 6-2, 6-1 and joined Rebecca Solarzano to win third doubles 8-2.
Rebecca Solorzano swept Taylor Stonehouse 6-0, 6-0.
NJIT will face Western New Mexico on Sunday, March 12th at 12:00pm at the Tennis Center.
