Baseball’s Jesse Uttendorfer receives NJIT Male Athlete of the Week honors for his performance in the Highlanders series against Stetson over the weekend.

In NJIT’s 2-1 loss to the Hatters, Uttendorfer produced the Highlanders only RBI on a double down the left field line.

The Highlanders finished the series with an 8-1 win on Sunday, with the senior’s help from a three-run home run in the seventh inning.

Uttendorfer is third on the team in batting average with .317, and second in RBI’s with 18.
