Fencer Julia Garcia was named Female Athlete of the Week for her performance at the NCAA Fencing Championships hosted by Penn State on Thursday and Friday.
 
The senior finished 12th out of 24 epee fencers, in her fourth appearance in as many years at the championships.
 
Garcia posted an 11-12 overall record with 83 total touches.
 
With her twelfth place finish Garcia earned All-American honors for the second time in her career.
