NJIT men’s cross country athlete Zakaria Fouad from Clifton, NJ has been selected as Male Athlete of the Week for his performance during the NJIT Classic Saturday at Branch Brook Park.

The sophomore captured the NJIT Classic title finishing the 8k course with a time of 26:06. Fouad completed the course over a minute faster than last season.

The Highlanders defeated Saint Peter’s 15-50.
