 Ed Charlton earned New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association (NJCBA) Division I All-State team Division I Rookie of the Year honors. 

Charlton, a freshman from Egg Harbor Township, NJ, shares the doubles lead with Bleakley (15) and has 31 runs batted in while owning a .317 batting average.  Charlton posted 60 hits (189 at-bats), 38 runs scored, two triples and two home runs while adding a .386 on-base percentage.  He has 14 steals in 17 attempts.
